Record Peak: How Nexus Delivered Its Strongest Season Yet
The 2025-26 peak period was Nexus’s most successful on record, with figures across vehicles supplied, partner utilisation, and customer savings all reaching new highs.
Over the peak season, Nexus supplied more than 7,000 vehicles, representing a 25% year-on-year increase. Alongside that volume growth, the team prevented 15% of damage claims from being recharged to customers, reducing both cost and admin burden at the busiest time of year.
Built on investment in Iris®
The performance reflects continued development of the Iris® platform, which gives clients greater visibility and control over their fleet requirements, even as demand fluctuates. One of the most impactful recent additions is a bulk group update tool, which enables large-scale booking changes to be completed in seconds, removing significant manual effort for fleet managers under pressure.
To meet the scale of demand, Nexus worked with more than 150 supply partners throughout the peak period, drawing on a network built around quality, reliability and collaborative working.
What made the difference
Yvonne Palmer, Supply Chain Director at Nexus Rental, reflected on what drove the result:
“Our peak season performance is a testament to the strength of our supplier partnership network and the quality we deliver together. By working collaboratively with our partners, we maintained exceptional product standards and ensured vehicles were delivered reliably, even at the highest levels of demand.”

She added that the commitment of the wider Nexus team was equally central: “This focus, combined with our team’s unwavering commitment to excellent customer service, meant we continued to provide the dependable, high-quality experience our customers expect throughout the busiest period of the year.”
A strong platform for what’s next
The record peak follows a landmark year for Nexus in 2025, with the business reporting double-digit growth in both gross and net revenue, alongside enhanced EBITDA.
It’s a strong foundation heading into 2026, and a signal of what a well-invested platform and a committed supply chain can achieve when they work as one.
