March 8, 2018 2:39 pm

Nexus Vehicle Rental, the UK’s leading tech-driven business mobility provider, has secured two prestigious award shortlistings in the space of a week, having been recognised for its fast growth and commitment to innovation, technology and customer service.

Yorkshire Business Masters Award

Shortlisted in the Fast Growth category of The Business Desk Yorkshire Business Masters, Nexus is commended for its ambitious strategic expansion, particularly over the last year. It will be going up against other leading businesses in the region at the awards ceremony on 26 April, held at The Queens Hotel in Leeds.

Nexus has also secured a place in the Northern Tech Top 100, the league table of the north’s fastest growing technology companies, and is in the running to collect one of nine judges’ awards presented at the Northern Tech Awards ceremony in Edinburgh on 22 March.

In addition to its shortlistings, Nexus has been awarded a Best Companies one star accreditation for its workplace engagement and high employee satisfaction levels, progressing from its ‘One to Watch’ status in 2017. The Best Companies programme evaluates how strongly employees feel connected to each other and the aims of the organisation they work for.

CEO of Nexus Vehicle Rental, David Brennan, said: “We are excited to be in the running for two prestigious accolades this early on in the year. Through technology, we are continuing to facilitate greater business mobility and our clients are proving very receptive to the service we provide.

“The technology at the heart of Nexus not only provides access to any vehicle, anywhere and at any time, it also advises on areas of inefficiency, helping clients make savings of up to 20% on their rental spend. Our service keeps fleets on the move, adaptable to change and cost-efficient.

“To be recognised with accreditation from Best Companies for our employee engagement is fantastic too. In order to provide our clients with the very best service, we are extremely passionate about investing in the development of our team and creating a healthy culture within the business. This is something we are fully committed to as the business continues its growth.”

Nexus Vehicle Rental’s unique IRIS rental booking technology can source business customers any vehicle, anytime, anywhere through an unrivalled supply chain, which it has built up to be the largest in the UK. Due to this, through the click of a mouse or via smartphone, Nexus can provide access to 550,000 vehicles across 2,000 UK locations, including 100,000 specialist and commercial vehicles and 50,000 HGVs, and can usually deliver a vehicle in just two hours after a booking has been made.
